Living In The Moment

I have often spoke about living in the moment and being open to change. This last week caught me by a bit of a surprise. After visiting a new build close to where my daughter lives, I wondered if it may be possible to relocate.  I arranged companies to come and value my house on the Monday and Tuesday of this week. Thursday saw me going back and reserving a property!

I know there are a couple of things to do to get my house ready to be marketed. These should be done in the next 10 days. Until the house sells I will not be able to run workshops on Sundays. My last will be February 16th for which I have 2 spaces left.  The date of my next reiki level two workshop has had to be changed to weekdays. It will be held on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th February.

I know my house will sell quickly and had one concern. Where to relocate with two dogs if I need to move before my new home is ready.  I spent hours looking at rental prices, caravans and camper Van’s. This week I have been advised of a possible solution if I require this.

Anyone who has been present at any of my workshops know I have to pull out a table to eat from. The good news is, my new home has a dining area. Hooray! I’ll be moving about 14 miles outside  Edinburgh, so not too far away.

I should be moving in the Summer, so if you wish me to train you in Edinburgh before then, get in touch with me.

Today I saw a post  by a friend that started “You are never too old and it’s never too late to start something new.” I have to agree with Audrey. Last year I gave up my day job to become  a reiki teacher and therapist full time, after many years of part time.  I also in 2019 wrote my first book which is available on Amazon. It can be found here.

I have so much I plan to do with my time and I have to say that age is just a number. It doesn’t matter at what age or stage you are at, you can always change things around. Many people who have been in jobs set for life, find themselves either being made redundant or choosing to go it alone. If you want change, start thinking of it now and see what you have to put in place to make a successful transition. If you can find a business coach, even better.

That’s all from me  for now. I should be back to being open for therapies on Monday, after the decorators go onto the outside of the house!
